Ljubljana’s commercial real estate market is experiencing a renewed and measurable revival. The office segment in particular is showing clear signs of strength, with very low vacancy rates in prime and Class A buildings, upward pressure on rents, and sustained strong demand from both domestic and international companies.

At the same time, limited available space in established locations is accelerating the transformation of former industrial and underused areas into new mixed-use districts. Flagship projects such as Emonika – alongside other brownfield redevelopments – are reshaping where businesses locate, how offices integrate with retail, services and public space, and how investment capital is deployed. Infrastructure upgrades and planning frameworks increasingly influence which locations emerge as the next business and employment hubs.

This conference traces that journey: from Ljubljana’s current office-market revival and regeneration wave to the future role of modern workplaces as core drivers of urban vitality, economic growth and long-term value creation.
