We also regularly organise export delegations to the United Kingdom, including pre-arranged B2B meetings with potential buyers, partners, and other key stakeholders.

We offer a strong platform for effective business networking, connecting you with over 130 members, as well as the wider British Chambers of Commerce network of 53 accredited chambers representing over 104,000 businesses in the UK. Through regular events attended by 50 to 150 participants, we create valuable opportunities to build relationships, meet potential partners, and raise your profile within the business community.

TEA WITH REASON EVENTS AND CONFERENCES

Attend our Tea with Reason Events and Conferences, designed to support and inspire our members. From UK-Slovenia trade relations and emerging business trends to finance, insurance, and HR, we cover the key issues affecting your business.

As the United Kingdom is one of the world’s leading countries for the development and adoption of new technologies, our events cover a wide range of technological fields, including FinTech, InsureTech, LegalTech, BioTech, and PharmaTech. We also focus on topics such as infrastructure, energy, and climate change.

BUSINESS DELEGATIONS

Each year, we organise business delegations to the United Kingdom, giving our members access to leading British expertise, direct contact with successful companies and institutions, and valuable opportunities for networking and the exchange of best practices.

Previous delegations have focused on FinTech and InsureTech, the automotive industry, nuclear energy, employer branding, and artificial intelligence. Each program is shaped around the interests and business objectives of participants, providing relevant contacts, fresh ideas, and tangible opportunities for further growth.

COUNCILS

We are committed to strengthening links between the UK and Slovenia by promoting trade, supporting investment, encouraging joint economic initiatives, and advocating for a more competitive and business-friendly environment in Slovenia.

To provide our members with an effective platform for collaboration, informed advice, and in-depth discussion, three Councils are currently active: Trade and Investment Council, People and Culture Council, and Tech Council.

CHRISTMAS GALA IN LONDON

Our annual Christmas Gala in London is held each November at the prestigious Institute of Directors, bringing together around 150 guests from the realms of business, politics, and diplomacy, representing both Slovenia and the UK.

This festive yet relaxed evening is an opportunity to celebrate and network, while also strengthening existing relationships and building new economic, political, and cultural connections between the two countries. As a member, you can enjoy an exclusive discounted rate to attend the Gala.

OTHER EXCLUSIVE MEMBER EVENTS

Exclusive member events provide unique opportunities to connect and engage with our community. We host New Members Events to welcome new members into our network. For senior foreign executives, the Expat G&T Club provides a relaxed environment to connect and share experiences with other foreign professionals in Slovenia.

Our annual Back from Summer event brings members together after the holiday break for a relaxed afternoon or evening of good food, wine, music, and conversation. It offers an easy way to reconnect with familiar faces, meet other members, and begin the business season with fresh connections.
