Bridging the AI Gap: Realising the Full Potential of Digital Transformation

Save the date for a Business Delegation to London and Oxford, scheduled in the days before the Christmas Gala. As artificial intelligence rapidly evolves and reshapes industries worldwide, a growing gap is emerging between technological potential and actual implementation. We will focus on understanding and overcoming the practical barriers that stand in the way, from skills and structure to mindset and strategy.

Through site visits, case studies, and direct exchanges with UK businesses and institutions, delegates will learn how others are making full use of the tools already available to them, and what it takes to translate these strategies into practice within their own organisations. Expect stops at the University of Oxford, Christie’s, a business conference hosted at PwC... and much more! We'll wrap it all up in style at our annual Christmas Gala.

When purchasing your Christmas Gala ticket, you’ll have the option to register your interest in the delegation. We’ll notify you as soon as official registration opens.

Small and medium-sized companies are eligible for the Slovene Enterprise Fund's Voucher for Participation in Economic Delegations Abroad. This voucher covers 60 % of the costs for accommodation, transport, and registration for the delegation. Detailed information about the voucher are available here. Once the delegation is over, the Chamber will issue a confirmation of your participation in the delegation, which you will be able to use to claim the voucher with the Slovene Enterprise Fund.

Event/Delegation Policy:

1. Please note that registration for the Christmas Gala and Business Delegation is only accepted through the registration form available here. We do not accept registrations via email or phone.
2. By registering for the Christmas Gala and/or Business Delegation, you agree to the following:

• Your name is published on the list of attendees which is then shared with other participants.
• The event and delegation will be photographed and photos will be published on British-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce's web page and social media platforms. Other media will be able to use them for their own articles/posts etc.
• The British-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce will organize the seating arrangement for the Gala. Attendees will not be able to choose their seats unless they purchase a table of 10 tickets. Couples will be seated together.

3. The delegation program is subject to change.
4. The registration fee for the delegation includes the full organization of the delegation, a pub dinner with a fixed menu, priority attendance at Friday’s conference, attendance and dinner at the Christmas Gala on 28 November, and light refreshments throughout the delegation program. Please note that the registration fee excludes flight, accommodation, breakfast, or transfer costs around London/Oxford.

Cancellation Policy:

• Until 1 September - a refund of 100 % of participation fee is possible
• Until 1 October - a refund of 50 % of participation fee is possible
• After 2 October - no refund is possible
