Slovenia's capital market is set for significant change with upcoming pension reforms, particularly in the supplementary pension insurance system (the second pillar). These reforms could boost institutional investor involvement, support long-term equity financing, and strengthen the domestic capital market. But how can these changes harness the full potential of Slovenia's capital markets and support private investment? And what lessons can be learned from successful models in other countries?
Building on the success of the British-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce’s 2024 Business Conference at the London Stock Exchange, an event that brought together top-tier executives, policymakers, and investors, this year’s follow-up in Ljubljana promises another high-level exchange of ideas.
