ONE ON ONE APPROACH
Year after year, we strive to organise events and other activities that are tailored to our members' needs. This is why we have developed a one-on-one approach to working with our members, which allows us to respond directly to their needs and address the topics that are of great interest to them.
NETWORKING
We provide a platform for effective business networking, giving access to our network of more than 130 members, as well as the Chamber of Commerce network in the UK, which brings together 53 chambers and more than 104,000 companies. Our events, typically attended by 50 to 150 participants, provide opportunities to engage with our community and expand your business reach.
TEA WITH REASON EVENTS AND CONFERENCES
Attend our Tea with Reason Events and Conferences, where we cover a variety of topics designed to support and inspire our members. From UK-Slovenia trade relations and emerging business trends to finance, insurance, HR, employer branding, and much more, we cover the key issues affecting your business.
Our events also cover technology sectors such as FinTech, InsureTech, LegalTech, BioTech, and PharmaTech, as well as discussions on infrastructure, energy, and the challenges of climate change.
BUSINESS DELEGATIONS
As part of our commitment to offering members expertise from top UK professionals, excellent networking opportunities, and best practice examples, we regularly organise Business Delegations to the UK. In the past, we have organised delegations on topics such as FinTech, InsureTech, Automotive, Nuclear, and Employer Branding. We always listen to our members' interests to ensure each delegation aligns with their evolving business needs and provides relevant opportunities for learning and growth.
COUNCILS
Considering our commitment to strengthening links between the UK and Slovenia, with a focus on promoting trade, supporting joint economic initiatives, as well as developing the people and culture of the business environment, we stand firm in our promise to create a strong platform for real teamwork, informed support, and expert discussions.
Currently, three councils are active and exclusive to our members, the UK Trade Council, Investors' Council, & People and Culture Council, with a fourth, the Tech Council, on its way. We foresee the creation of more councils in the future.
CHRISTMAS GALA IN LONDON
Our annual Christmas Gala in London is held each November at the prestigious Institute of Directors, bringing together around 150 guests from the realms of business, politics, and diplomacy, representing both Slovenia and the UK.
This festive yet relaxed evening is an opportunity to celebrate and network, while also strengthening existing relationships and building new economic, political, and cultural connections between the two countries. As a member, you can enjoy an exclusive discounted rate to attend the Gala.
OTHER EXCLUSIVE MEMBER EVENTS
Other exclusive member events provide unique opportunities to connect and engage with our community. We host New Members Events to warmly welcome new members, offering them the chance to integrate into our network. For senior foreign executives, the Expat G&T Club provides a relaxed environment to connect and share experiences with other foreign professionals in Slovenia.
Additionally, our annual Member Get-Together brings the entire membership together for an afternoon of mingling and networking, where our members forge new connections and partnerships.
NEW MARKET ENTRY
We can support your business in expanding into the UK or Slovenian market and finding new business partners. With our expertise and experience, we can address any concerns or obstacles you may face after the UK's exit from the European Union. As part of the "Going Global through the UK" program, we can also offer you support to enter global markets.
