Barbara Uranjek, CEO of the Chamber, Nominated for the President's Award
We are proud to announce that Barbara Uranjek, CEO of the British-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce, has been nominated for the prestigious President’s Award by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC). Barbara is one of just six nominees from the entire global BCC network and the only nominee selected among the bilateral international British Chambers. This award is all about recognising the exceptional work and impact of someone who has gone above and beyond to support their Chamber, their local business community, and the wider global Chamber Network.
Barbara expressed her appreciation for the nomination, saying:
"I am extremely proud to be nominated for the BCC's President's Award, having led the Chamber for the past eight years. This nomination is not just a recognition of my efforts, but of the entire Chamber's team. In 2023 we have achieved remarkable results, from strong membership growth, the launch of Chapter Zero Slovenia, to the establishment of three councils and many other innovative projects. These accomplishments have revitalized our Chamber and positioned it as a forward-thinking leader within the global British Chamber network."
